About the Position

Registered Nurse – NICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal and pre-term neonatal patients in a Level 3 NICU setting
• Manage feedings and IV therapies, including line management
• Perform ventilator management and monitoring for neonatal patients
• Utilize unit systems including Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR for documentation and communication
• Work every other weekend and adhere to holiday scheduling requirements as outlined in contract
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Experience with neonatal and pre-term neonatal patient populations
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Epic and Pyxis systems in a NICU environment
• Experience with ventilator management and advanced IV therapy in neonatal care
• Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
