Job Overview

Duties

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterizations, including coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with cardiovascular conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hypertension
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medications and lifestyle modifications
• Provide preventive cardiology care and patient education on heart health
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, cardiac surgeons, and specialists
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Stay current with advancements in cardiology and evidence-based practices
• Engage in clinical research activities to advance interventional cardiology practices and contribute to ongoing medical trials.

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
• Proven experience performing complex cardiac catheterizations, vascular interventional radiography, and related procedures.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology techniques relevant to cardiology.
• Proficiency with EHR systems such as Athena, Epic or comparable platforms for documentation and patient management.
• Critical care experience including airway management, ICU protocols, and post-operative care is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with medical imaging modalities including CT scans, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic radiology.
