Job Full Opportunity Brief Title: Commercial Counsel Category: Jobs Organiser: Crunchbase Description: Crunchbase is seeking a Commercial Counsel to act as a strategic legal partner for its Sales, Revenue, Product, Marketing, and Security teams. The successful candidate will manage a high volume of complex commercial transactions, including SaaS and Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) agreements. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating strategic customer agreements, advising on data privacy (GDPR, CCPA), and supporting the company’s AI governance framework and responsible AI adoption. Eligibility: Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and hold an active membership in at least one U.S. state bar. At least 2 years of relevant legal experience is required, ideally within a technology company or a law firm representing tech clients. Experience with SaaS and data licensing is mandatory.
