Department/Unit Summary. Join our team in a 5-bed Wound Care unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs), Hyperbaric Chamber Operators, LPNs and CMAs. With a 3:4 nurse to patient ratio, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications and requirements. Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. BSN preferred. Additional requirements include: Expectation to obtain BSN within two years. Completed a WOCN Nursing Education Program (WOCNEP) accredited by the WOCN Society as a standard pathway and/or meet experiential requirements. If not completed, must complete within two years and meet requirements to sit and pass the WOCNCB board certification exam within the same two years. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. 4500 hours (2-3 years) of direct patient experience that encompasses wound, ostomy, and continence care.
