Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x10-Hour Shifts (11:00–23:30) | Guaranteed 36 hours (3x12) or 40 hours (8s/10s) | On-call required: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting with a focus on robotics, orthopedic, and neurological procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective perioperative care
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
• Fulfill on-call obligations including weekly and weekend shifts as directed by nurse management
• Complete time-sensitive onboarding modules prior to and during the assignment as a priority

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required; 2 years of direct RN Operating Room experience strongly preferred
• Strong robotics, orthopedic, and neurology OR experience required
• Active RN license required; pending license considered
• BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submittal (no pending certifications accepted)
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start
• Facility does not accept any license hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of direct Operating Room RN experience
• Prior experience in a high-volume or academic surgical environment
• Familiarity with EKG interpretation and pharmacology (testing required during orientation; 2 attempts maximum with no remediation)
