Our agency has been proudly serving the community for over 10 years. We're a small but driven team of four, and we're known for offering one of the most competitive commission structures in the area. Based in the Ohio Valley, our office is licensed in West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, and we’re passionate about helping our customers find the right coverage for their needs. Our agency owner is deeply rooted in the community—an active member of the Weirton Rotary Club, Jefferson and Hancock Sportsman Clubs, and the Steubenville Masonic Lodge. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, a supportive team environment, and a commitment to doing what’s right for our clients. Eric Waggoner - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
