Mobile Mammography Van Driver

The driver is responsible for driving the Mobile Mammography van to and from places where our patients live and work. Once on site, this person collects information and registers patients for their appointment.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating hospital vehicle to transport Mammography Technologist and equipment to various sites in a safe manner, adhering to Mercy Health policies and DOT regulations.
• Completing daily pre check and post check maintenance checklist to ensure van and equipment are in working order. Reports any malfunction of the vehicle to management.
• Gasing vehicle on specified days of the week, maintaining cleanliness of van and stocking supplies when necessary.
• Meeting and greeting customers. Obtaining and verifying patient demographic information and ensuring completion of forms to include: copies patient insurance card, Medicare questionnaire, obtain signed consent form and ABN when necessary.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED

Licensure/Certifications:

Required: Valid State Driver's License and CDL Class B.
