Carilion Clinic is seeking a dedicated Breast Imager to join its comprehensive Breast Care Center in Roanoke, VA. The position emphasizes a favorable work-life balance with no call, nights, weekends, or holidays, alongside a competitive salary and benefits package.Practice InfoCarilion Clinic Breast Care Center is a comprehensive program with dedicated expertise in breast imaging, surgery, pathology, and operations.The center is supported by one of the few programs worldwide with large format and three-dimensional correlative pathology.It includes a dedicated diagnostic center spanning 8,500 square feet with separate interpretation areas.The center performs 27,000 screening mammograms and 35,000 exams annually across five outreach screening locations.Programmatic advances include a high-risk genetics program with a dedicated genetics counselor and two interdisciplinary patient care conferences.Comprehensive services provide prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and research in collaboration with other departments within a 763-bed teaching/tertiary medical center.ResponsibilitiesConduct screening mammograms (3D)Perform diagnostic mammograms (3D)Execute ultrasound US invasive procedures including needle localization, needle core biopsy, and cyst aspirationConduct stereotactic imaging for core biopsyPerform galactographyExecute MR guided core biopsiesOpportunity to conduct original clinical research in a mutually supportive environment with core specialties (not required)CompensationMin Starting Salary: $510,000Max Starting Salary: $684,000Eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salaryHistorical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salaryIncentive Pay: YESRelocation Paid: YESBenefits10 weeks vacationCMEPaid Malpractice & TailHealth/Life/DisabilityEmployer Paid Pension Plan403(b)Shift & ScheduleNo call/nights/weekends/holidaysRequirementsCompletion of Fellowship training in Breast Imaging (required)Board Certified/Board Eligible, American Board of Radiology (required)
