Overview

Applewood Center is Now Hiring a full-time Receptionist!

- Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

- Rate: $20.00/hour

- Weekend Rotation: Every 10–11 weeks (Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM)

- Flexibility: Requires flexibility to meet facility needs (e.g., staying until 6:00 PM or arriving at 8:00 AM if necessary)

- Answering phones and greeting customers

- Inventorying resident belongings

- Scheduling transportation for resident appointments

- Sorting, delivering, and filing mail and packages

- Handling resident/Facility cash and banking

Full-time is eligible for Medical Benefits or Modified Compensation, which is an additional 25% on the base rate of pay!

Responsibilities

Bring your administrative skills and winning personality to our nursing center. As a receptionist, you directly impact the nursing center reputation being the first person that a patient/resident, family member, candidate or client interacts with at the nursing center.

*Answer all incoming calls professionally and courteously and redirect them appropriately.

*Warmly welcome, greet and direct patients, visitors, and guests.

*Coordinate outgoing and incoming mail.

*Maintain current lists of patients/residents by name/room number and employees by names/phone extension.

*Order supplies and performs other clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

*High school degree or equivalent is required.

*Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and visitors and respond to their medical and physical needs.

*Excellent communication skills are required.

*Must be proficient with Google; Docs, Sheets, Slides.

Posted Salary Range

USD $20.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
