CompleteRx is excited to share a part-time (3 days per week) or full-time (4 days per week) Pharmacy Technician opportunity at Moore County Hospital District , a 25-bed acute care hospital located in Dumas, Texas . Work Schedule Full-Time position (32 hours/week): Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (4 days per week) Part-Time position (24 hours/week): Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (3 days per week) Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The pharmacy is closed during evenings and on weekends. Each team member's dedication is essential to meeting and exceeding the needs of our patients and families. What You Will Do Ensures procurement and distribution of drug orders. Identifies and fills replacement medications on emergency crash carts, OR carts, and floor stock accurately. Prepares sterile products (including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition) accurately. Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately. Rotates stock to ensure use before the expiration date. Picks up orders, requisitions, and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds. Enters charges and credits for patient medications accurately. Identifies and replaces outdated and unusable drugs. What You Will Need Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Six months of pharmacy technician experience is preferred. Possess current pharmacy technician registration in the State of Texas. Possess current National Pharmacy Technician Certification. Possess I.V. Certification or willing to obtain it within six months of your hire date. Successful completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training course is preferred.
