Member Team Lead

Position Summary Assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction and guidance on member service approaches. Ensures member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines and that compliance with company policies and procedures is maintained. Supports the Open Door Policy, participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating associates, and promotes member service and membership programs. Provides information on membership types, programs, and benefits, processes memberships and upgrades, encourages renewals, and participates in sales and marketing events. Supports marketing documentation and strives to meet membership goals. Provides and ensures member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, providing guidance and support regarding self‑service technology, and assisting with transactions. Oversees the assigned area by handling claims, returns, zoning, arranging merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, and maintaining parking lot cleanliness. Completes accounting records, files transactions, prepares daily deposits, investigates cash shortages, and maintains confidentiality of financial information. Develops processes and practices to meet business needs, collaborates with managers and partners, monitors progress, identifies improvement opportunities, and promotes compliance with company policies and ethics. Leads and participates in teams, provides advice and feedback, and models change adaptability. Supports a culture of belonging, respects diversity, and mentors others. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications At least 6 months of retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register). At least 6 months of customer service experience. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Front‑end team leadership with hiring, evaluating, mentoring, and workload management responsibilities.
