Janitorial Specialist

IDEXX is seeking an enthusiastic, Janitor/office cleaner to join our facilities team. Your job will be to provide custom commercial and office cleaning services. If you have a passion for cleanliness, teamwork, and providing a great service, this position is for you!

To ensure that IDEXX Facilities infrastructure, processes, and services meet the evolving needs of the business, we will be a strategic partner and service provider of choice for the business teams. We will strive to achieve operational agility and flexibility, high employee engagement, cost excellence, and safe, sustainable operations.

Weekly Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 3.30pm (1st Shift)

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in designated areas.
• Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitized, including floors, windows, and furniture.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms by replenishing supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions.
• Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company policies.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as required.

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is welcomed but not essential
• Someone who can work on their own and as part of a team
• A positive can-do attitude

• An hourly rate target $18.50/hour
