Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Step-Down Unit – Georgia

Start Date: October 4, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Medical Step-Down Unit with 16-20 beds; nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4

Highlights:

• Work in a progressive medical step-down environment caring for acutely ill patients
• Diverse case mix including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy
• Manageable patient ratio of 1:4 allowing for quality, focused patient care
• Opportunity to utilize critical thinking and advanced assessment skills in a fast-paced setting
• Collaborative team environment with experienced clinical staff

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Medical step-down or progressive care experience strongly preferred
