Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician, you will focus on mechanical systems across CNC machining, industrial washers, heat treat processes, and conveyors lines. You will be working closely with electricians to minimize downtime and maintain a strong preventive maintenance program in a modern, air-conditioned plant.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical maintenance and repair on production equipment, including CNC machines, industrial washers, heat treat systems, conveyors, and assembly equipment to ensure continuous operation
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, including pumps and control valves, identifying root causes of failures and implementing effective repairs
- Diagnose and troubleshoot pneumatic systems, including control valves and conveying systems, testing cylinder seals, and checking fittings and valves for leaks
- Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, understanding their function, bearings, and related mechanical components to restore and maintain reliable operation
Essential Skills
- At least 7 years of experience working in an industrial setting, preferably in automotive manufacturing or a similar high-volume production environment
- Strong hydraulic troubleshooting skills, including understanding how pumps and control valves operate and how to diagnose and correct hydraulic issues
- Strong pneumatic troubleshooting skills, including familiarity with air pneumatics, control valves, conveying systems, cylinder seals, and leak detection in fittings and valves

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marysville, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.25 - $36.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
