Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and formulate individualized therapy strategies designed to help them reach their functional objectives

Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily life activities

Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work collaboratively with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care

Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide valuable instruction to patients and their caregivers on therapy techniques to foster ongoing progress in their home environment

Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment strategies as necessary to ensure sustained patient progress

A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Engagement in continuing education or post-graduate certification is encouraged and supported

Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license

Mandatory NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)

A genuine passion for helping others attain their highest potential for independence

Strong, empathetic communication skills for interaction with both patients and colleagues

Ability to think innovatively and adapt treatment plans to cater to diverse needs

Confidence to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a tight-knit, interdisciplinary team
