JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Medical Director • Job Type: Permanent • Location: Los Angeles, CA • Service Setting: Outpatient HIV Primary Care Clinic • Coverage Type: Clinical + Administrative + Shared Call • Coverage Period: Permanent • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday (Days)• On-Call Shift Schedule: Shared Call • Call Type: Shared PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults, including LGBTQ community and individuals living with HIV/AIDS • Patient Volume/Census: 15–18 patients per day • Case Mix: Outpatient HIV Primary Care FACILITY INFORMATION • Service Setting: 100% Outpatient • Support Staff Available: Practice Manager, Medical Assistants, and Registered Nurses • Research Focus: HIV and LGBTQ Health COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Base Salary: Competitive (varies by location)• Retention Bonus: Up to $100,000• Quarterly Bonus: Up to $3,500• Productivity Bonus: Bi-weekly • Sign-On Bonus: Available • Relocation Reimbursement: Up to $10,000• Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance • 401(k) or 457(b) Retirement Plan • Malpractice Insurance with Tail Coverage • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)• CME Stipend JOB REQUIREMENTS • Active California MD/DO License • Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Adult Gerontology, or Infectious Disease • Valid DEA License and Furnishing License • Current CPR/BLS; AAHIVM Certification required within 18 months of hire • Prior outpatient HIV/AIDS diagnosis and treatment experience • Other Qualifications: Comfortable seeing 15–18 patients per day DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide comprehensive outpatient HIV primary care. • Diagnose and manage HIV/AIDS and primary care conditions. • Provide clinical leadership as Medical Director. • Participate in the shared call schedule. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams. • Deliver compassionate care to underserved populations, including the LGBTQ community.
