Lead Security Engineer

Job Title
Responsibilities
Leading the creation, improvement and education of security policies, procedures, standards, and practices.
Leading the implementation, management, and monitoring of core security infrastructure.
Leading the detection, mitigation and resolution of security vulnerabilities.
Driving the efforts to obtain SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification.
Collaborating with both tech and non-tech teams to integrate security controls and procedures into their workflow.
Requirements
5+ years of professional security related experience.
Strong expertise in cybersecurity and cloud security, specifically within the context of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience with planning, researching and developing security policies, standards and procedures
Experience with SOC 2 audit procedure and ISO 27001 compliance.
Ability to communicate network, platform, and data security issues to peers and management
Self-driven and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
