Position Overview As an Admissions Representative at Galen College of Nursing, you are often the first voice a prospective student hears when they’re considering a career in nursing. In this role, you’ll connect with prospective students through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and web chat—answering their questions, building rapport, and helping them take the next step toward enrollment. If you’re energized by meaningful conversations, motivated by helping people reach their goals, and comfortable working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment, this role is a great fit. What You’ll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students reaching out by phone, email, and web chat. Answer inbound calls and respond to electronic inquiries promptly and professionally. Make outbound calls and send follow‑up emails to prospective students, including those who miss scheduled appointments. Schedule appointments for the Admissions team across all campuses. Track and manage prospective student leads in the admissions system to ensure timely and accurate follow‑up throughout the enrollment process. What We’re Looking For Two or more years of experience in a business, education, or customer‑facing environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred—relevant experience in recruiting, sales, or admissions may be considered in lieu of a degree. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a warm, professional demeanor. Comfortable working in a high‑volume phone environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Flexibility to work evenings and some weekends as needed.
