Job Title QUALITY SPECIALIST At Daher, we deliver smart industrial and logistics solutions that keep complex manufacturing environments running with precision, reliability, and operational excellence. In Charleston, our team is dedicated to supporting high‑performance operations through rigorous quality standards, disciplined processes, and a culture built on trust, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Daher’s Charleston, South Carolina site supports on‑site aerospace logistics operations for a major aircraft manufacturing customer, playing a critical role in production support and supply chain execution. The team manages key activities including parts kitting, tooling and inventory management, and line‑side material support, directly enabling aircraft final assembly operations. As part of Daher’s growing North American Logistics Division, the site delivers precision‑driven, safety‑critical logistics services in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, working closely with customer stakeholders to ensure material availability, quality compliance, and strict FOD‑prevention standards. Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Quality Specialist. As the Quality Coordinator, you will support the site’s Quality Management System under the leadership of the Quality Manager. You will ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards; conduct internal audits; coordinate quality‑related activities; and help drive continuous improvement across operations. You will be a key partner to Operations—participating in daily meetings, analyzing non‑conformities, supporting corrective actions, and maintaining documentation that keeps the site aligned with ISO 9001, EN9100, and internal requirements. Key Responsibilities Ensure proper application of customer, normative, regulatory, and internal quality requirements throughout the flow of goods—from receipt to final delivery. Support compliance with ISO 9001 and EN9100, including documentation management and adherence to quality standards. Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System and present findings to management. Write, update, and maintain key quality documents such as Quality Assurance Plans, Control Plans, and Work Instructions. Participate in daily operational meetings and support effective quality interface with Operations. Monitor and manage quality KPIs, including non‑conformities and compliance metrics. Be present for customer assessments and support follow‑up actions on the production floor. Assist with training on QMS processes for new hires and existing employees. Analyze non‑conformities, coordinate corrective actions, and support 8D problem‑solving. Conduct field audits, process monitoring, and root‑cause analysis. Manage calibration of measuring tools and maintain accurate records. Support project teams in meeting customer, regulatory, and internal requirements. Qualifications & Skills Requirements Associate’s degree or relevant experience in quality, logistics, or manufacturing. 3–5 years of experience in a similar quality‑focused role. Working knowledge of ISO 9001, EN9100, or similar standards. Experience supporting audits, corrective actions, and quality documentation. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities. Comfortable working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage confidential information. Information related to the position The compensation range is $90,000 to $100,000 base salary. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
