Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) position in Janesville, WI, requiring an active WI or compact RN license and day shift availability including every third weekend.

Details

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting within a hospital system
• Day shift schedule, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (0630–1900)
• 36 hours per week (0.9 FTE)
• Every third weekend required
• Holiday rotation required
• Floating to other inpatient units may be required based on census
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Prior skilled nursing or sub-acute care experience required
• Education verification required for consideration

Additional Information

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute individualized patient plans of care
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and state practice acts
• Apply critical thinking to patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance
• Document care according to established standards
