CNC OperatorAs a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating Computer Numerical Controlled Machines to mill, turn, and drill metal parts. You will work within a machine work cell, operating multiple machines, and ensuring the machines are functioning correctly. You will also perform necessary machine maintenance and verify that completed parts meet Engineering and Quality Assurance specifications.ResponsibilitiesOperate Computer Numerical Controlled Machines to mill, turn, and drill metal parts.Work as an operator on multiple machines within a machine work cell.Monitor parts and machines to ensure proper operation.Perform machine maintenance according to maintenance work instructions.Check and measure dimensions of completed parts to ensure they conform to Engineering and Quality Assurance specifications.Complete additional duties as assigned by the department supervisor.Essential SkillsExperience operating a range of CNC equipment, including Lathe and Milling Machines.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Strong adherence to quality standards and proficiency in Shop Mathematics.Skill in utilizing precision measuring tools and instruments.Capability to record dimensional data accurately.Additional Skills & QualificationsFormal classroom training or certification for CNC machine operation is strongly preferred.CNC programming skills, including G-code and M-code, are advantageous.Experience with Fanuc Controllers is a plus.Familiarity with live tooling is beneficial.Ability to adjust CNC machines to correct faulty programming.Physical strength to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.Knowledge of GD&T, Inspection, Programming, Lathe, and Mill operations.Why Work Here?We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes a Traditional 401K and Roth IRA with Company Match, Medical, Dental, Vision, an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), Paid Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, Paid Vacation, and 11 Paid Holidays per year.Work EnvironmentThe work environment involves operating multiple CNC machines within a machine work cell. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
