Responsibilities

• Assessment:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine a child's strengths and weaknesses in areas like fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
  • Review medical history and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Treatment Planning:
  • Develop individualized therapy plans that address specific needs and goals.
  • Create activities and exercises to promote skill development and independence.
• Therapy Delivery:
  • Provide one-on-one or small group therapy sessions.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to improve functional abilities.
• Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with families to educate them about their child\'s needs and to provide strategies for home practice.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as physical therapists, speech therapists, and educators, to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
• Advocacy:
  • Advocate for children\'s needs and rights.
• Monitoring and Adjustment:
  • Monitor a child\'s progress throughout therapy to ensure they are meeting their goals and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
