Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant

Leading heart program in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is seeking a skilled CT-APP with EVH experience to join in assisting their three employed cardiothoracic surgeons at Grand Strand Medical Center. Qualified candidates/details:

• Graduated from an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program
• Have a South Carolina license or the ability to get a South Carolina license prior to starting
• Two or more years' experience with all routine heart surgery procedures and thoracic procedures
• Possess understanding of clinic follow ups and post op outpatient care
• Exposure to minimally invasive procedures a plus
• Experience in EVH and 1st assist in surgery required
• APP will be responsible for daily rounding on patients pre and post-operatively as well as conducting follow-up assessments in the clinic
• Expected call schedule of 1:3
