Job Title: IT Support Technician - Apple
Job Type: 3-Month Contract
Location: Austin, TX 78746
Schedule: Flexible - 730-4; 7:30-4:30 (Summer Schedule - 4 days a week/10 hours)
Pay: $20.00/Hr - Paid Weekly

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must pass a criminal background Fingerprint check upon hire.
Must have a valid Texas Drivers license and reliable transportation
Education/Certification- High school diploma or GED

Knowledge/Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows machines, iPads and Apple laptops and iMacs.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications.

• Knowledge of Mac OS X systems.

• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.

• Willingness to learn technical processes or applications.

• Good communication skills, both oral and written.

• Ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and department administration.
• Ability to lift 30-45 lbs, with no issues; ability to bend, kneel, sit

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive, configure, and deploy tablets/ipads, desktops, laptops, and server computers into customer environments
Assist with moving IT equipment from one location to another. This requires techs to be able to lift 15-45 lbs with no issues, stoop, bend, sit, and kneel with no issues.
Basic hardware & software troubleshooting; responding to Tier I tickets (connectivity and password resets)
Provide Tier I Help Desk & Deskside support (majority macOS & some WindowsOS)
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to help and advice to stakeholders that use department services and devices.
