Job Summary Freedom Power is looking for Residential Installers for national residential solar-based projects with experience in construction, electrical, or solar. The role involves installing 10kW to 1MW solar systems and is 90% travel (mostly four weeks out, with occasional weekend travel/work required). The position is based out of Houston, TX. Job Duties Work with a team of installers on residential solar projects. Safely execute quality workmanship and complete work assignments on time. Ensure proper safety, quality, and attitude per all company policies. Maintain the mission, goals, and values of Freedom Solar Power. Assist with other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competency Prior solar, construction, or electrical experience. Strong work history with career progression. Flexible and willing to get the job done. Qualifications Required 2+ years of experience in commercial solar installation, electrical, or construction; electrical coding experience strongly desired. Ability to lift, bend, squat, and haul 50+ lbs. Capability to work in hot climates. Introduction to commercial solar mechanical and electrical principles. Valid driver’s license and clean MVR to drive company vehicles. Willingness to travel weeks at a time across the US, 90% of the year.
