Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule

This position requires 40 hours weekly, consisting of four 10-hour shifts on weekdays. The hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. On-call duties for the Level 1 Heart Attack Program will involve a rotation of 1-2 nights per week and every fourth weekend, with additional call required for holidays. The on-call response time for patients needing acute heart attack care is 30 minutes.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, with additional preferred experiences in Telemetry, Emergency Department (ED), and/or Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
• Assist in the management and care of patients experiencing cardiac events.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Telemetry, ED, and/or ICU experience preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications are required.
