Job Title: Shipping Manager

Job Type: Full-Time 7:30A - 5:00P M-F

Location: Shreveport, LA

Pay: $20 - DOE

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shipping Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle physical work in a fast-paced environment. This role involves managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments and deliveries
Accurately pick, pack, and ship outgoing orders
Organize and maintain stockroom, ensuring cleanliness and proper inventory management
Track and document shipments, preparing regular reports for management
Coordinate and schedule large shipments, ensuring adequate space and staffing
Troubleshoot shipping issues and resolve customer concerns efficiently
Maintain compliance with safety and environmental policies
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if certified)
Assist with inventory control, including counting and cataloging items
Handle heavy lifting and safely move large packages as needed

Qualifications:

Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
Dependable with a strong work ethic
Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred
Forklift experience or certification is a plus
