In Vivo Laboratory Associate Scientist

Eurofins seeks an Associate Scientist to conduct in-vivo rodent studies assessing pharmacokinetics and drug mechanism of action. The role involves executing experiments, handling animals across multiple dosing routes, performing necropsies, and independently documenting data at a client site in San Diego.

Responsibilities

• Execute in-vivo rodent experiments to determine ADME properties and pharmacokinetics
• Perform drug administration via multiple routes (IV, IP, SC, PO) and collect samples from rodents
• Develop and troubleshoot novel models for drug metabolism and mechanism of action studies
• Conduct necropsies and independently document study data

Requirements

• Strong rodent handling skills including injections, restraint, and anesthesia administration
• Bachelor's degree in animal sciences, biology, pharmacology, or related field plus ~2 years experience
• Hands-on in-vivo experience working with mice
• Basic understanding of pharmacokinetic and pharmacology research concepts
• Ability to establish and maintain in-vivo study operating standards
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Instech automated blood sampling system experience preferred

Compensation: $31-$36/hr
