Job Description
TAX ACCOUNTANT (Permanent)
Our client, an established boutique firm in the South towns of WNY, is looking to add a Tax Accountant to join their growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for growth, leadership, and potential partnership.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporate, and trusts
Collect and review information from clients ensuring accuracy
Research any issues and follow up with clients via email/phone regarding any possible discrepancies
Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure tax returns are being completed within a timely manner
Develop industry-specific strategies with clients to support overall business and individual needs
Remain up-to-date with tax laws to ensure compliance
Supervise and mentor staff members driving professional development & growth while reviewing work and ensuring accuracy and on-time filings
Work well in a team environment, as well as on an individual basis
Complete special projects as needed
Other duties as assigned/as necessary

Details:

Position is full-time, direct hire
Hybrid
$90,000-$110,000 depending on experience
Bachelors' degree in Accounting
CPA or in-progress preferred
3+ years tax accounting or public accounting experience with a focus on tax
1040/1065/1120S experience preferred
Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong organization skills and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Self-motivated
Relocation not available
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available
