Job Description:
??Candidate must have Hawaii License.
Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity.
General Job duties. Types of procedures required.
Flex Rn Floats between various medical and surgical units
Shift or schedule requirements.
12-hour shifts - Night (1845 to 0715) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes.
Required skills and minimum years of experience: 2
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS.
Floating to other units/departments: Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit:V Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights
Laulima 1:6, Cardiovascular 1:4
