Perm - Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology Tallahassee FL

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join their well-established practice of 30 years at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, Florida.

Job Description:

• The Level-III NICU has 34 beds, an ADC of 25 and 3,500 annual deliveries
• The only area facility designated as a Level-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, equipped to handle high-risk moms and premature or critically ill babies
• This is a multi-specialty practice, consisting of neonatologists, NNPs, pediatric intensivists and pediatric hospitalists, working as a team to provide family centered quality healthcare
• Supported by a variety of other specialists including: pediatric cardiology, pediatric endocrinology, pediatric radiology, pediatric neurology and pediatric orthopedics
• Friendly, professional atmosphere with great nurses and ancillary services including a PICC team and a full time child life specialist
• Transports are from other regional hospitals and staffed by a neonatal nurse and respiratory therapist
• NNP schedule of 8-hour and 24-hour shifts
• Candidates must be NNP Board Certified (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)
• Not accepting new graduate candidates - CURRENT 2+ years' experience as NNP required
• Not accepting Locums candidates

• Master's Degree (minimum) and/or Doctorate in Nursing (note in "Experience") - REQUIRED
• NNP - Board Certified - REQUIRED (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)
• FL License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
• Current 2+ years of employment experience as NNP - not including RN experience (note in "Experience" field) - REQUIRED
• Clean Malpractice History - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• DEA (must be obtained prior to start) - (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) - REQUIRED * no exemptions
