Furniture Sander (89433)

We are seeking a reliable Sander to support furniture production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for sanding, prepping, and finishing wooden furniture components to ensure a smooth, high-quality surface prior to staining or assembly.

Responsibilities:

• Sand wooden furniture components using hand tools and power sanders

• Prepare surfaces for finishing, staining, or painting

• Inspect pieces for defects, rough spots, or imperfections

• Follow quality standards to ensure consistent finished product

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures and proper equipment usage

• Work closely with production and finishing teams

• Assist with general shop or production tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous woodworking, sanding, or manufacturing experience preferred

• Experience with hand and power tools required or strongly preferred

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
