Safety Coordinator

Position Title: Safety Coordinator Wage: $27.00 - $32.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm QPS is seeking a Safety Coordinator for our client in Spring, TX. Join a leading company as a Safety Coordinator, where you’ll play a critical role in protecting employees, strengthening safety programs, and shaping a culture where safety comes first. This role is responsible for promoting a safe and healthy workplace by developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, and fostering a strong safety culture across the organization. Safety Coordinator Responsibilities Develop and maintain safety programs aligned with OSHA and ISO 45001 standards Conduct routine safety inspections to identify and mitigate hazards Investigate accidents and incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions Deliver employee safety training (PPE, emergency response, safe work practices) Maintain accurate documentation for incidents, inspections, and training records Partner with leadership and employees to promote continuous improvement in safety culture Stay current on regulations and industry best practices Interface with regulatory agencies and external safety vendors Supervise Safety Technician Requirements for Safety Coordinator At least two years of safety coordination experience Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance Certifications preferred: CSP or CHCM Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Ability to frequently stand, walk and lift up to 50 lbs #J-18808-Ljbffr Monroechamber
