Clinical Faculty Endoscopist

UMass Memorial Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Clinical Faculty Endoscopist to join our Gastroenterology team. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive gastroenterology services for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, contributing to high-quality patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration. Hiring Range $350,000 - $475,000 Please note that the final offer may vary within this range based on a candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures, including but not limited to: Upper GI endoscopy Push-enteroscopy Colonoscopy Sigmoidoscopy Therapeutic endoscopy procedures Diagnose and manage patients with gastrointestinal disorders, utilizing clinical expertise to guide treatment plans. Collaborate closely with residents, fellows, clinical nurses, and advanced practitioners to ensure coordinated, patient‑centered care. Participate in educational activities involving trainees and contribute to the academic mission of the department. Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and institutional policies to promote patient safety and quality outcomes. Qualifications MD or DO degree with Board Certification in Gastroenterology. Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and multidisciplinary collaboration. Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for teaching and mentoring.
