Job Title: Cable Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking Cable Assemblers to join our team, contributing to the creation of high-quality cable assemblies under minimal supervision, using customer-supplied drawings to meet precise specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cables for assembly.
• Solder, chamfer, label, and apply heat shrink to cable assemblies.
• Crimp ferrules and cut and trim Teflon on cable assemblies.
• Perform special projects and assembly tasks according to work instructions, blueprints, or diagrams.
• Utilize hand tools and basic power tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and rivet guns.
• Inspect assembled products for quality compliance and report defects or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Meet daily production goals while ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and company guidelines.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 6 months soldering experience.
• Experience in assembly of small parts.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and measuring.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail for repetitive tasks.
• Basic computer skills to utilize company technologies and software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1+ year of assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25–50 lbs as required.

Work Environment

Work at a small manufacturing site with approximately 30 focused and hardworking individuals. Assemblers operate in a cleanroom, using magnifiers, microscopes, and small hand tools at their own stations to assemble extremely small parts. The work environment includes exposure to noise, machinery, and repetitive motion, with PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, etc.).

This is a Contract position based out of Santa Rosa, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Santa Rosa,CA.
