Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Schedule
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements
- 2+ Years of Experience
- Post-operative open heart care experience
- Chest tube and other drain management experience
- Pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, including reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips and recognizing changes in cardiac rhythms
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities
- Experience with assisting in various procedures and equipment management including chest tube removal and temporary pacing
- Active Ohio or Compact RN License
- Active American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Active American Heart Association ACLS Certification

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on age-specific criteria.
- Make judgments based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills.
- Assist in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff.
- Float to all units within skill level as necessary.
