Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity in Santa Rosa, CA. This role is ideal for a logistics professional with hands-on experience managing domestic and international shipments through UPS, FedEx, DHL, and DHL Global Forwarding.

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator will help ensure shipments are processed accurately, documentation is completed correctly, and materials move efficiently through the operation. Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and process daily domestic and international shipments using UPS, FedEx, DHL, and DHL Global Forwarding.
- Prepare shipping labels, commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other required shipping documentation.
- Receive, inspect, verify, and document incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and related records.
- Track shipments, monitor delivery status, and proactively resolve delays, exceptions, discrepancies, or damaged shipment issues.
- Communicate with carriers, vendors, customers, and internal departments to ensure shipment requirements and timelines are met.
- Maintain an organized shipping and receiving area while following company safety procedures and material handling guidelines.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities for domestic and international freight.
- Prepare accurate shipping documents, labels, commercial invoices, and customs-related paperwork.
- Schedule carrier pickups, track shipments, and resolve logistics issues.
- Support inventory movement and maintain organized shipping and receiving records.

- 3 to 5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or a related operations role.
- Demonstrated experience shipping through UPS, FedEx, DHL, and DHL Global Forwarding.
- Experience handling both domestic and international shipments.
- Knowledge of international shipping documentation, customs requirements, and shipment compliance.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn shipping, logistics, ERP, or inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and safely lift or handle materials as required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with freight forwarding and international logistics.
- Familiarity with commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and related shipping documentation.
- Experience using ERP, inventory management, or shipping software.
- Previous experience coordinating high-volume shipping and receiving operations.
