Regional Sales Manager - Medical

About the Company Our client is an established out-of-home advertising company with 25 years of experience and a strong portfolio of recognizable clients. Through its partnerships, they are expanding the network of digital advertising screens across retail locations in markets throughout the country. We are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial Account Manager to lead the rollout of its digital advertising network across new markets. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road, building teams, coordinating field operations, and growing a business from the ground up. You'll be responsible for launching new markets by recruiting and training independent contractors, helping them secure retail locations for digital screen installations, and ensuring each market gets off to a successful start. As the network grows, the role will transition into more of an ongoing territory and account management position, supporting established markets and maintaining relationships with contractors and retail partners. Travel to targeted cities to establish presence, coordinate local rollout efforts, and get new markets up and running. Recruit & Train Independent Contractors: Identify, hire, onboard, and train 1099 freelancers responsible for securing retail locations and coordinating digital screen installations. Manage Field Performance: Provide hands-on guidance, monitor progress, troubleshoot challenges, and help contractors meet installation goals and timelines. Build & Maintain Relationships: Communicate with retail locations, answer questions, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience throughout the installation process. Support Location Acquisition: Help contractors introduce the digital advertising network to retailers and explain the incentives available to participating locations. Track rollout progress, monitor installation activity, identify gaps in coverage, and recruit additional contractors as needed. As markets become established, maintain communication with local contractors and retail partners to support ongoing operations and address day-to-day needs. Coordinate Travel & Execution: Spend significant time traveling during the initial expansion phase, typically visiting approximately two cities per month, to launch markets and build local teams. Experience in account management, sales, field operations, territory management, business development, or a similar role. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people. Experience training, managing, or coordinating independent contractors, field representatives, or distributed teams is a plus. Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple markets and projects simultaneously. Willingness to travel approximately two weeks per month during the initial 6 to 12 months, with travel needs expected to decrease as markets become established. Ability to work independently, solve problems in the field, and take ownership of market launch initiatives.
