Par Logistics is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Weekend Customer Service Representative (Track & Trace) to provide critical shipment-monitoring and customer-service coverage throughout the weekend.

Our Customer Service/Track & Trace team serves as the communication hub between customers, carriers, drivers, and our operations team. In this role, you’ll monitor shipments from pickup through delivery, provide proactive updates, communicate with carriers and drivers, document shipment activity, and help resolve issues as they arise.

Please Note

This is a full-time position with a nontraditional Friday–Monday schedule and required overnight weekend on-call availability. Candidates should carefully review the schedule and on-call expectations below before applying.

Required Schedule

Friday: 12:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Sunday: 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Monday: 5:00 a.m.–6:00 a.m.

Required On-Call Coverage

Saturday: 4:00 p.m.–Sunday 7:00 a.m.
Sunday: 4:00 p.m.–Monday 5:00 a.m.

All times are Central Time .

Required on-call coverage is an integral part of this position and requires reliable availability throughout the assigned on-call periods.

On-Call Expectations - During assigned on-call periods, you will be expected to:

• Keep the assigned phone powered on, available, and answered when calls are received
• Remain available to respond to work-related matters within 15 minutes
• Regularly monitor and respond to email communications
• Monitor active shipments and address issues or changes as they arise
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and drivers as necessary
• Escalate service issues when appropriate
• Maintain accurate shipment notes and documentation
• Remain reachable and prepared to handle time-sensitive situations throughout the assigned on-call period

What You’ll Do

• Monitor active shipments from pickup through final delivery
• Provide timely and proactive shipment updates to customers
• Communicate with carriers and drivers regarding shipment status
• Track pickup, transit, and delivery milestones
• Identify potential delays or service issues and take appropriate action
• Respond professionally to customer, carrier, and driver communications
• Maintain accurate shipment notes and documentation
• Coordinate with Operations, Carrier Sales, and other internal departments
• Assist with resolving shipment issues and service exceptions
• Ensure accurate and complete shift handoffs
• Provide consistent weekend coverage for active customer accounts and shipments

• Remains calm and professional when problems arise
• Demonstrates strong follow-through and accountability
• Can maintain reliable availability during required on-call periods
• Is comfortable taking ownership of issues and escalating when appropriate

No Prior Logistics Experience? No Problem.

We’re willing to train the right person who brings strong communication skills, reliability, attention to detail, good judgment, and a willingness to learn.

Previous experience in customer service, transportation, logistics, dispatch, freight brokerage, operations, or a similar fast-paced environment is a plus.
