Orthopedic Spine Physician Assistant (255255) Baytown, Texas Salary: USD130000 - USD150000 per year Job Title: Orthopedic Spine Physician Assistant (PA-C) Job Responsibilities Demonstrate the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform orthopedic spine assessments, treatments, and procedures. Use therapeutic communication to establish strong relationships with patients, families, and the interprofessional care team to collaborate on comprehensive plans of care. Accept accountability for healthcare outcomes, exercising sound judgment in all clinical interactions. Effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members, and co-workers in a manner consistent with a customer service focus and positive language principles. Manage multiple tasks efficiently, demonstrating strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Compensation Hourly Rate: $130,000 - $150,000, highly dependent on experience Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current State Licensure from the Texas Board of Physician Assistants (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation). Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) designation from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Basic Life Support (BLS) or Instructor certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Instructor certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). Controlled Substance Registration/Narcotics License from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred, but open to entry‑level/new graduate Physician Assistants with a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills. Schedule and Travel Hours: Monday – Friday day shift.
