Qualifications & Experience:

• Active North Carolina Special Education Teaching certification required for interview consideration
• Previous experience in special education or working in a 1:1 instructional capacity highly desired
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
• Flexibility and positivity when collaborating with students, families, and colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver specialized, individualized instruction on a 1:1 basis
• Complete assessments and develop, monitor, and adjust IEP goals as needed
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
• Communicate regularly with families about student development and achievement
• Cultivate a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where every student can reach their potential
