Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Fixed Income and eTrading platform expertise to assess legacy trading systems, evaluate business workflows, and identify opportunities for modernization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of Fixed Income trading, risk modeling, pricing engines, trade booking, and FIX protocol connectivity within the ION framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops and interviews with Fixed Income traders, risk managers, structurers, and operations teams to gather business requirements.
• Assess existing eTrading platform functionality, including risk modeling, pricing engines, trade booking, and FIX connectivity.
• Analyze current-state workflows, identify functional gaps, and recommend process improvements.
• Evaluate platform modules, configurations, and best practices for Fixed Income trading.
• Document discovery findings, business requirements, process maps, gap analysis, and modernization recommendations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and consultants to assess legacy systems and integrations.
• Support the definition of scope and objectives for future platform modernization initiatives.
• Present findings and recommendations to business and technology leadership.

Required Skills Must-Haves

1. Fixed Income eTrading platform expertise , including trading workflows and connectivity.
2. ION framework and FIX protocol experience for market connectivity and trade processing.
3. Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products, including government and corporate bonds, swaps, repos, and structured notes.
4. Experience with risk modeling, market and credit risk, VaR, pricing engines, trade booking, and straight-through processing (STP).
5. Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, discovery, process mapping, and gap analysis.
6. Capital markets or investment banking experience, preferably 7 10 years.
7. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, workshop facilitation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Consulting experience with major banks or financial institutions.
• Experience with trading, risk management, and pricing platforms.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as MiFID II and FRTB.
• Understanding of trading platform architecture, integrations, and data flows.
• Experience with platform assessment and modernization initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

• Front Office Services: Membership, IPO, Order/Trade Management, Pricing, Trading Strategies, and Pre-Trade Compliance.
• Trade Finance.
