Our employees in 50 countries worldwide – all working with passion to enable high-tech applications with our strong metals: tungsten and molybdenum.At our Plansee site in Franklin, USA, we specialize in transforming semi-finished molybdenum and tungsten products into complex components—leveraging decades of precision manufacturing and engineering excellence.Join a highly motivated team in Franklin, USA, where local expertise meets the global knowledge and values of the Plansee Group.Position type: ExemptResponsibilitiesQMS Administrative SupportAssist in maintaining QMS documentation under supervision to ensure compliance with AS9100 standardsFollow established procedures to support quality system updates and changesLearn and apply basic continuous improvement conceptsCompile document packages to be uploaded to customer portalsDocument ControlProcess document revisions, formatting, and controlled distribution per defined proceduresEnsure controlled copies are properly issued and trackedIdentify and report discrepancies in documentation to senior team membersRecords ManagementMaintain and organize quality records (digital and physical) for accuracy and accessibilityEnsure proper filing, labeling, and retention of documents in accordance with company policiesRetrieve records for audits and internal requests as neededAudit Preparation SupportAssist in preparing documentation and records for internal and external auditsHelp compile audit packages and organize supporting materialsLearn audit processes and participate as a support resourceNonconformance & Corrective Action TrackingMaintain accurate records of internally issued nonconformances and track timely root cause & corrective actions (RCCA) activitiesFollow up on open items and escalate overdue actions to senior staffData Entry & ReportingGenerate basic Quality notification reports under guidanceEnsure data accuracy and completenessDeviation Waiver Tracking & MonitoringMaintain & monitor records of deviation waivers submitted to customers for review/approvalEducation and ExperienceAssociate’s degree is preferredSAP experience is a plusAdministrative or quality-related experienceExposure to regulated environments (manufacturing, aerospace, AS9100/ISO) is a plusSkills and CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracyBasic understanding of document control and recordkeeping principlesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to follow structured processes and instructionsGood organizational and time-management skillsEffective communication and willingness to learnAbility to interact across Quality, Production, Sales, and Engineering teamsBenefitsMedical - 90% paid for with 100% reimbursement on deductibleDentalVisionFlexible spending accountsCompany paid life and disability insurance401 K w/ company matchTime off BenefitsAnd much more!The base compensation for this position is between 55-65k annually, commensurate with skill and experience level.
