Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiograms and ensure accurate diagnosis and data collection.
• Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cardiac care.
• Maintain equipment and ensure all tools are in operational condition for accurate imaging.
• Educate patients and their families about cardiac procedures and expected outcomes.
• Document diagnostic findings and update patient files for future reference by medical staff.
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in pediatric cardiology.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois license as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer.
• American Heart Association or Red Cross certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric echocardiography experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
• Compliance with flu vaccination requirements, with exemptions accommodated for medical or religious reasons.
