X-Ray Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technician to join our Pain Management team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a C-arm and working in a clinical setting where precise imaging is essential for pain management procedures. You will assist physicians by performing high-quality diagnostic and fluoroscopic imaging. This is a part time 1099 contractor position. Key Responsibilities: Safely set up and operate C-arm for fluoroscopic procedures. Assist physicians during minimally invasive pain management procedures, ensuring high-quality images are captured. Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images while ensuring comfort and safety. Adjust imaging techniques as necessary to optimize the quality of radiographic images, specifically in dynamic fluoroscopic settings. Provide clear instructions to patients regarding the imaging procedure. Assist patients on and off examination table Maintain accurate and detailed records of imaging results. Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and efficient patient care. Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and protocols. Follow all healthcare regulations and infection control procedures. Maintain a safe environment for the employee and patients at all times. Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Education and Experience: Current ARRT License in the state of Arizona High School Diploma BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, preferred. 2+ years experience in pain management procedures and operating c-arm Skills & Abilities: Proficient in operating C-arm. Strong knowledge of radiology techniques and safety protocols. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced clinical environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare staff. Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues with imaging equipment. Travel Requirements: This position is open for both our Mesa (Tuesdays, weekly) and Peoria (Mondays, 1p/month) office. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift as necessary to assist with positioning patients. Physical stamina to work in a clinical environment, including assisting patients and maneuvering equipment.
