We are looking for a detail-oriented tax specialist to join a Financial Services team. This position supports the preparation and review of tax filings while helping maintain strong compliance practices across individual and business engagements. The role also provides guidance to tax staff and helps ensure work is completed in line with current regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Review and oversee the preparation of individual and corporate tax returns to support accuracy, completeness, and timely filing.
• Provide day-to-day direction to tax staff, answer technical questions, and promote consistent work quality across engagements.
• Monitor tax compliance activities to help ensure filings, documentation, and related processes meet applicable standards.
• Stay informed on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to the broader tax team.
• Assist in resolving tax-related issues by analyzing return details, identifying discrepancies, and recommending corrective action.
• Coordinate with internal colleagues and clients to gather required financial information and keep tax engagements moving forward.• 3+ years of experience in tax preparation, public accounting, or a closely related tax-focused role.
• Hands-on experience preparing or reviewing individual tax returns.
• Hands-on experience preparing or reviewing corporate tax returns.
• Working knowledge of tax compliance requirements and current regulatory standards.
• Ability to guide entry-level staff and provide clear direction on tax-related work.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in a services environment.
