Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled CVOR Registered Nurse to provide specialized perioperative care for cardiac surgery patients. The RN will circulate complex cardiac, vascular, and transplant cases, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and circulate during complex cardiac and vascular surgical cases, including CABG, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, Valve, Heart & Lung Transplants.
• Adhere to patient safety standards and maintain sterile environments in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure all equipment, supplies, and medications are prepared and available.
• Monitor patient vitals, respond to intraoperative needs, and document procedures accurately.
• Comply with hospital protocols and maintain up-to-date certifications such as BLS and ACLS.
• Communicate effectively with team members and on-call staff to manage on-the-fly situations and emergencies.

Qualifications:

• Must possess at least 2 years of circulating RN experience in cardiac, vascular, or transplant surgeries.
• Hold an active South Carolina or multi-state RN license and provide proof upon start.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS through AHA is required.
• Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) and manage on-call responsibilities.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating room procedures and managing high-acuity cardiac cases.
• Radiation badge required; badge to be provided by agency.
