• ED Volume: 19,000
• 17-bed ED
• 24-hour physician coverage with flex APP coverage daily
• 15% admit rate
• Full radiology services and bedside ultrasound in the ED
• EPIC EMR
• ED has access to OBS unit

The Area

Canon City, with a population of 16,400, is located along the Arkansas River in southern Colorado. At an elevation of 5300 ft., it enjoys a mild climate year-round. Canon City has easy access to the metropolitan areas of Pueblo and Colorado Springs only 45 minutes away, and Denver is 1 1/2 hours away.
