BOOKKEEPER/PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT

Bookkeeper
This is a full-time on-site role for a bookkeeper in a real estate investment/development and management firm. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, creating and managing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and entering journal entries.
Duties Include:
- Full scale bookkeeping for a real estate portfolio
- A/P, A/R, Bank Reconciliations
- CAM Reconciliations
- Enter accounting related information into property logs
- Inspect books for efficiency and accuracy
- Organize and update financial records
- Update and maintain reports via accounting software
- General Ledger post journal entries for non-AR/AP transactions, bank reconciliations, monthly financial statements, accruals.
Qualifications:
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance
- Proficiency in accounting software. Experience in a real estate specific accounting software is preferred.
- Experience in managing accounts payable and receivable
- Ability to create and manage financial statements
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
