Sentara Cardiology Specialists are now hiring a full-time Registered Nurse Practice Coordinator in Williamsburg, VA!

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5p. NO NIGHTS, HOLIDAYS, or WEEKENDS!

Overview

The Registered Nurse Practice Coordinator functions as a clinical leader, under the direction of the Practice Manager, for the provision of patient care services for populations of ambulatory care patients/families. Responsible for the scheduling and/or assigning clinic staff to meet patient care and clinic needs, performing patient care, developing/implementing clinical practice guidelines/protocols, and for providing support with patient decision-making, education, and coordination of services to assure quality outcomes. Coordinates and collaborates with Physicians and/or Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Physician Assistant (PA)/Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care, and provides delegation and supervision of tasks (procedures, treatments) to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Medical Assistants (MA).

Education

• Bachelor's Level Degree-Nursing

Certification/Licensure

• Active RN license (VA or Compact)
• Specialty certification in professional nursing practice preferred.

Experience

• Nursing experience 3 years required
• Previous supervisory experience 1 year required
• Ambulatory Care experience preferred

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $98,633.60 - $142,750.40 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
